The Australian Geography Teachers' Association (AGTA) and National Geographic Channel have jointly published an excellent pamphlet titled 'The place of Geography in your career choice'. It includes sections on

• examples of careers in which geography provides more specialised knowledge and skills.

Help students make their subject choice

The Geography Teachers' Association of Victoria has produced a pamphlet to assist students make decisions about courses of study. It also includes brief profiles of people who have studied geography at tertiary level and are now engaged in rewarding careers.
